Choosing enabled or disabled offers clear advantages over auto mode. It simplifies control and ensures consistent behavior, especially for post times or other settings. Auto mode may perform extensive checks with thousands of options, which could slow things down significantly.

Everything is really simple. For example, I disable certain controllers since I don’t use them much, but leaving them on auto makes the startup a bit faster. But think about applying this to all possible devices on the board.

The term "Auto" can have different meanings, so specific examples are needed. For SATA lanes, using them or disabling them doesn't affect performance unless you're changing the configuration.

Onboard graphics work better when disabled, while auto keeps it on, which can waste memory on parts of the system not in use.

Here are a few scenarios to consider: these settings could help the whole system perform better. Adjusting them to specific modes like 2t gear and toggling features might offer more control. I’m not suggesting the exact numbers yet, just thinking through possible benefits.

For all CPU and RAM stuff, unless you're experienced and need precise settings, keep them at default!
