I’m checking if the Z690-A D4 fits the i9-13900K, verifying compatibility with a 32GB DDR4 Corsair Dominator 2800MHz RAM. Also looking into whether all three parts—motherboard, processor, and RAM—work together without issues beyond performance.

Ensure your CPU is compatible by upgrading BIOS to support the new processor. (Or use flashback for compatibility.) Your 13th generation CPU works with BIOS versions that allow faster RAM than yours. It's usually easier to find compatible RAM for Intel than AMD. Just verify your current BIOS version and follow the update guide carefully. It only requires a bios update. #2 It seems odd to invest $600 in a CPU while trying to improve its speed with low-speed RAM; a 137000k DDR5 kit would be far more effective. #3 Usually it doesn’t cause problems, but it’s still a bit strange since you’re paying so much for the CPU—you should maximize its performance.

Are you focusing solely on gaming on the PC or engaging in additional activities?

Thanks for the feedback. Right now I'm working with a tight budget, but upgrading the RAM later could be a smart move (I found a great deal on the processor which made me think about it).

I’ll treat it for rendering and editing, perhaps with a touch of gaming flair. Right now, my budget is tight—I only noticed a solid offer on the processor, which made me think about an upgrade.

Skip the 13900k, it's too costly and overheats during games. Go with a 13700k or 13600k—it still runs fine. The savings let you upgrade to a stronger GPU and faster RAM, boosting overall performance.

I mentioned it's not mainly for gaming and I can't miss this 13900k for $300, I think it's a solid deal. Thanks for the feedback!
