I believe I’ve limited my options to just two motherboards for my initial project, but they feel quite alike. My budget is around £280-300, and I’m open to suggestions—especially since I’m planning an i5 10600k and a 2080 Super. I’d really appreciate any advice on future-proofing my build!

I recall the AORUS Pro AX offers better VRMs and includes WiFi. A quick tip: it’s probably not wise to purchase a GPU right now; the latest NVIDIA and AMD models are launching soon. Consider getting a more affordable card now or holding off.

I’m holding off mainly because of the money situation, though I’m just getting a new house. It’ll probably take a month or two, so planning now will help if prices drop later.

Intel might not offer the best value; AMD provides better performance for your budget.

I understand why you prefer Intel more and have studied their CPUs closely. If you’d like, I can recommend some alternatives for both CPUs and motherboards.

Similar to an R5 3600 or R7 3700X with a board such as the Tomahawk, you’d also have the 4000 series available later.
