Both models share comparable features, but the TP link includes an antenna on the base while the Asus model has a movable antenna. The TP link also features a heatsink on the module and is more affordable at 22$. Asus costs 30$. Which one suits you best depends on your budget and preferences.

I own an ASUS AC55BT, bought for $20 a few years ago during a sale. It connects easily with Windows 10 drivers and functions as expected. I appreciate the wired antenna option—it helps me hide my HTPC while keeping the antenna visible for better reception.

The response is similar to a wired connection but will be significantly slower.

I already have it, it doesn’t add much value. I’ve set up my own wired network before.
