Sooo... 970 is back for RMA (displayport died). I'm back on the HD4600. Dropped Tomb Raider back to 720p and it still runs fine. But what I see to my surprise... the HD4600 keeps the ICC profiles like a champ. What the hell is this edit: nope, still changes with CryEngine games. So, I tried that iccprofile keeper but it doesn't really work. Only option left is a Spyder Pro? But how does that change anything? What do @ Grrizz think?

You're confirming the setup is correct. CPK appears to be the best free solution I found, with Spyder being a more expensive alternative. It offers similar functionality to CPK—periodically checking profiles and adjusting them when needed, such as after a DX11 game starts. If it doesn't work, CPK might not be compatible. Review the settings file at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Color Profile Keeper to verify options like [General], [Windows_startup=1], [startup_apply=1], and ensure it's active in the taskbar.

Sure, that's what happens. The program keeps adjusting, which means it's oscillating between states.

It responds just to modifications, much like any profile manager—changes occur only when loading into a DX game or similar settings. There’s no method to prevent DX from resetting the profile.

It seems quite frustrating, but I understand. You're okay with it now. Appreciate the guidance!

Sure, I get a bit frustrated sometimes, but as long as the profile loads after clicking, it’s okay for me. There was some logic behind it, though I can’t recall the details now—probably not great.

The issue persists despite multiple attempts. When launching the app, the profile updates but doesn't revert properly. I've tried running it with admin privileges and capturing gamma values manually. It still defaults to the stock ICC profile, forcing me to use a green-heavy display. Frustrating—applications should handle this automatically, not require manual adjustments. I managed to fix it by setting a custom color profile directly on the monitor instead of relying on software.
