Compare AMD Ryzen 5 4650G and Ryzen 5 3600 to see their differences.
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about purchasing an AMD 4650G APU. It's a bit challenging to figure out the best options since it's not widely available on most PC building websites. My reasoning is that there aren't many suitable graphics cards for the price gap between the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and the 4650G. Both processors are quite similar, and the 4650G comes with integrated graphics (though you might not know about that model). It's priced about 80 USD higher than the 3600. For now, I'm planning to stick with the 4650G until GPU prices drop, then upgrade later. If you have any concerns about my plan or notice anything wrong, please let me know. Thanks!
The cache gap should cause only a minor impact on performance. In general, I anticipate both CPUs will behave quite similarly. It makes sense to choose the APU now until affordable GPUs with good value become available again.
Ryzen CPUs may occasionally boost gaming speeds noticeably. Upgrading for just $80 can provide a very affordable temporary GPU option.
