Hey there, the 5800X3D is out of production now, so I got a refund instead of a new one. Paying 300 for a 5700X3D doesn’t make sense. My 7900XTX is coming to mind—should I upgrade to something like 7500F, 7700, or maybe the 9600X7500F? The prices are around €130 for 7700 and €203 for 9600X. I play at 3440x1440 and noticed only tiny FPS changes at that resolution. Would it really be worth spending more than half a frame difference? My main games include Rainbow Six Siege, Warhammer 40k, The Finals, VRChat, Ghost of Tabor, Armored Core 6, Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, and others.

An additional $10 is reasonable.

It's not just a few dollars extra; it's either $73 or $68 more.

In theory, you won't see significant boosts beyond 7500f, though using an iGPU could be beneficial.

Ho abbastanza GPU in eccesso, quindi se qualcosa va storto posso provare in quel modo. Igpu non è necessario per me, voglio concentrarmi solo sulle prestazioni.

I think I’d choose the 7700 over the 9600X because it offers better productivity performance while using less power. The one I got for another machine is running smoothly and stays cool. In games, they’re about the same.

Consider a 7500F paired with a DRAM SSD for your operating system, should you not already have one.

I focus mostly on comparing 7500F versus 9600x and 7500F versus 7700. Productivity will mostly be limited to uploading a few avatars in Unity.

I'll check it out because I'm not familiar with it. Should I allocate the additional €72 to upgrade to a better mobile? (The one in my cart is currently a 73 bucks AsRock B620M.)

I’d prefer a good motherboard over a cheaper one. The 7500F with a reliable B650 or B850 would be better than a 7700 paired with an A620 or B840.
