I haven't played 2205, but I explored it and decided against it after some research. I liked 2070 a lot—it's an engaging city-building experience, though it simplifies compared to 2070. For a city builder, Cities:Skylines is clearly superior. If I had to recommend, go with 2070. 2205 offers little narrative depth and restricts gameplay options relative to 2070. The most exciting part of 2205 is the variety of locations for constructing different cities.
