I purchased GTA5 from GreenManGaming and redeemed the code on their site. I’m planning to buy it myself so I can play with my kid once the parts arrive in a few days. Right now, the cheapest price I see is on Steam for $40. I’m not concerned about where I buy it, but I’m curious about the servers and how they work. He doesn’t launch the game directly from Steam, so would I still be able to connect and play with him if I open it on my computer? I’m trying to be certain about this before spending around forty dollars.
All matters are managed through the social club, regardless of whether you use a Steam code.
