Compact device with solid performance at 2.4 GHz
Hello everyone! I'm searching for a compact yet sturdy access point. I host small gatherings and frequently handle networking equipment, which sometimes gets damaged or lost. I'm looking for something solid, preferably without external antennas, supporting both 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi. We can't use repeaters, so it should be a self-contained unit. I don't require many LAN ports—just a few Gigabit ones if needed. Ideally, it should be built with durable materials rather than just handling high traffic like 600 devices. The closest match I found is MikroTik hAP AC lite, but it only offers 100Mb ports and its plastic casing isn't very reliable. Do you have any suggestions that fit my requirements? Looking forward to your thoughts!
TP-Link offers quality PoE access points. For professional use, ensure the device supports autonomous operation so you don’t need a separate controller.
