Compact cooling solution at a reduced cost (YT video)
Compact cooling solution at a reduced cost (YT video)
Is it just me (and Google's voice recognition software) or did Linus mention an Intel CPU model that doesn't exist as a test unit for the Icegiant cooler? I swear I heard i7-10875K. Turned captions on and they seem to agree with me. I actually paid an extra bit of attention there because of total memory, clock speeds and channels. I just came out of a frustration with my old 7740X finding that I couldn't run my 4x16GB on XMP-3200 because of IMC limitations (been testing and trying different speeds, DRAMv, VCCIO, VCCSA, timings etc...) as anything higher than 2700Mhz won't work at all. It just can't handle it. 2 any sticks are fine, go with 4 and it won't POST while trying to XMP even though the memory is rated for it. Yeah, I know. this CPU is "certified" by Intel to run on 2667Mhz... so, yeah. He probably meant the i9-10850K (or what else I wonder?). Even though making this post is mostly useless, I just wanted to know what CPU that actually was, for research purposes.
