Just a 660Ti model running at low settings, except for mesh rendering—this is the only aspect that really counts.

BF4 isn't a strong title by any measure. In competitive play it stands out negatively, with noticeable hit registration problems and frequent lag. After seven months since its release, it feels like a pile of outdated content. It's not just a minor update to BF3—it's a significant drop in quality. The gameplay suffers greatly: unreliable hits, constant lag, and overall poor performance. It lacks the stability needed for serious competition. Players won't tolerate issues like missed shots, frequent glitches, or inconsistent mechanics. Design choices are questionable—spammy grenades, unbalanced weapons, annoying animations, and frustrating UI elements. The mobile version feels sloppy, with visual recoil issues and laggy controls. Maps deteriorate due to lelvolution, and features like UAV scans and trigger delays ruin the experience. Even the DLC additions, like grenade spam and airbursts, don't fix core problems. Bugs persist from the beta phase, and many unresolved issues remain. It doesn’t improve upon its predecessor; instead, it introduces more flaws. BF4 falls short as a competitive shooter and fails to deliver on what a Battlefield title should offer.

It seems you're frustrated because you think the game is bad, but it might just be your skill level. I only managed to hit one enemy directly a few times, and no shots landed. Just remember, every player has these issues sometimes—like "netcode lags" (which aren't real).

BF4 doesn't meet the required standards and won't improve anytime soon. This applies to coding, net code, and gamer base. Honestly, it's not doing enough.

my clan and I explored the competitive side of BF4 in TWL. we suffered a big loss, and after the season ended we mostly stopped playing it. i’ve also tried CTE and still face issues even with netcode, which has made me give up most of my hope for the game now. despite being a year after its launch, they haven’t fixed the problems. many games depend on this engine for stability, and i’m hoping to God GabeN helps them improve it.

You're being really tough about it. Even though some people might not take it seriously, the issues are still there. All his points seem solid and really undermine the whole situation.

BF4? Teaming up? It works now? Yeah, Battlefield won’t be the same again… it’s moved over to COD, unfortunately.
