Comp BF4?
Previously competed in BF3's CEVO mode, though struggled to join BF4 due to performance issues. Generally had a solid 5kd on good days, but faced challenges with lag and hitboxes. Everyone shares similar concerns about regs and mechanics. Looking for active clans or teams for regular play—any recommendations? Also hoping to get Razer sponsorship.
It’s clear you were about to repeat a similar thought, but I’m glad you’re aware you’d need to be exceptionally skilled to succeed. Just because the BF4 scene seems easy doesn’t mean you can just jump in and perform well—real expertise is required. Sponsorship from brands like Razer isn’t automatic; you have to work hard. Competitive play demands more than casual interest. If you truly want to excel, you’ll need to invest significant effort.
No one would take BF4 seriously as a real competitive game. The registration process is just a joke, even after all the updates. Plus, it was never made for e-sports. I could keep talking about this, but the short answer is: skip the "competitive" version if you're serious about e-sports—try something else.
You must be part of a top-tier group to attract sponsors such as Razer. I’m not sure about the U.S., but in the EU there are still active leagues. I’m fairly certain Dreamhack hosts LAN tournaments.
I'm not sure about AKE with a heavy-b, laser, potato, or kobra. If you manage to control the recoil, switch to single mode, you'll be able to take down snipers, or use your .44.
Razer partnerships will feature elite players such as MVP, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, and Team Empire. None of these teams compete in BF4—the game I played 2142 in a clan long ago. I found competitive shooters to be scarce lately, though I’m curious how my views might shift with UT2K15.
BF4 is an enjoyable title, featuring an upgraded version of the original with improved visuals. It runs smoothly on PC, delivering around 30 frames per second at 720p resolution, and works well with a GTX 9500 graphics card.
