Demos are always impressive, the game isn't finished yet. Aliens: Colonial Marines anyone?

Alphas usually don't, which means we can expect even more exciting developments ahead.

The game currently looks amazing and that's not even what it will look like at the final product. And it is already, we pledgers can check, way better than A:CM. So that's not an issue (yet I guess?).

The structure in modules concerns me. The loading times are quite slow.

Don't bring up that game again, right? I think it's unlikely the same will happen with Star Citizen either—it's still in alpha—and Chris Roberts mentioned he wants it to look even better than it is now. In reality, the only choices available in the menu are low, medium, high, and very high, but they haven't released the advanced options yet.

It comes in separate modules, not as a single package. Definitely one of the quickest to load on my SSD.

Based on the time period he played, there were some loading delays before, but this was when all ships loaded in the game in a corner of the map that you couldn't see because the tech wasn't optimized and it happened faster than loading into video memory. They've already made updates and loading times have been reduced by more than half. It's impressive to see such improvements. I'm eager to see them combine modules, though that's still a long way away.

Really, I haven’t used Arena Commander much lately; my only recollection is those slow load times. It’s impressive how they’ve improved.
