Common issues with game performance
Are there any common annoyances you've noticed while gaming on your system? I'm dealing with some unusual problems lately, which are getting frustrating. I dislike unexpected crashes and the way updates can break older titles on newer hardware—like Dragon Age 2. It feels like we're stuck in a cycle of "not optimized" games. We invest a lot in our machines and the software, yet it's hard to get them to run smoothly. What are your thoughts? Am I misunderstanding what others think?
I dislike stuttering in games—it's incredibly bothersome for me. Apart from that, I don’t have any major concerns.
Crashes aren't inevitable unless the game has issues, your overclock settings are too high, or your drivers are faulty. Most of these problems can be resolved. I particularly dislike being unable to adjust my mouse sensitivity to my preference. In several games, the slider doesn’t reach the lowest setting and there’s no simple method for fine adjustments. Others lack a straightforward way to use raw input, which is the most irritating part.
In 4K resolution you might see solid frame rates yet experience delays.
Using DA:O suggests the game has issues. Or perhaps it doesn't work well with Nvidia drivers.
