I'm sure these individuals won't resolve their driver issues. Nothing has changed, and I'm starting to see this error. The Radeon software won't launch. What should I do? And I understand that installing a new version will reset all my settings. How can I prevent this?

Remove the software and verify with DDU that no driver traces are left. As a note (but don’t rely on this), your preferences should stay intact after a reset, or you might find a hidden Radeon config file in a specific location that could be useful to keep.

Which graphics card are we talking about? The newest updates can be found here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/releas...in-22-11-2
It might reset your preferences when switching to a newer version if you replace the old one, unless you perform a fresh installation.

I primarily use Radeons starting around 2003, especially the 9000 series. The drivers sometimes encounter problems, which is typical, but many attribute issues to AMD software rather than investigating actual hardware faults.

I've been running an AMD GPU (RX 6800XT) for more than a year now. It hasn't adjusted any settings except for major software updates that add new features. For routine updates it doesn't make any changes. When using third-party tools like MSI Afterburner, you can bypass this issue completely.

I've worked with three different setups. Only the full AMD one is experiencing these problems. I'm confirming this by saying I haven't made any changes, and it's just begun to fail. This hasn't happened before on my Intel or NVIDIA machines.

It's not a typical occurrence, especially not from AMD.
