After finding the console commands for XP and some other items, I've reached a point that feels out of place. Loading an older save would undo about 16 hours of progress, which isn't ideal. Now I'm wondering if it's possible to remove XP or levels altogether. Having around 2,000 health at level 238 feels frustrating and doesn’t give any real satisfaction. I've tried player.removelevel with the right number, but the suggestions keep showing up about PerkRank and Keywords instead of actually removing them. It’s a bit annoying. Do you have any ideas? If not, I’ll check the FO4 forum for more information. Cheers!
From what I understand, the game doesn’t let you drop your rank. I attempted to change my level using player.setlevel but it refused. Luckily, I wasn’t saving at the time.
This was done to highlight the importance of following the rules. The main goal of such a game disappears when you exploit your level.
You can adjust your character's stats and level directly by entering the desired numbers yourself. If manual changes feel off, you might skip them and focus on building relationships with companions. Once they notice you, open the console, click left, and type the ID code (EP) to change their affinity. Adjust their preferences as needed to keep the connection strong. It's useful to tweak this when certain companions tend to avoid your usual interactions or chat choices.
According to @ Fluxx these commands likely won't function. I'll check if Cheat Engine can be used as a backup, since saving after 14 hours is the final fallback. Having 490 carry weight is beneficial.
You can adjust the carry weight easily without affecting other settings. My initial action was to assign a carry weight of 1000.
They function properly. I started FO4 and tested them; everything works well. Below are the commands I've saved.
Getting all the benefits was my goal, but I’m now aiming to reduce my level and take away those perks.
