Combining two same RAM modules together
Combining two same RAM modules together
Checking if two units can be combined to hit 32 GB. The specs suggest each is 8 GB, so together they should work. Confirm compatibility and ensure the total meets requirements.
You can try but might not succeed... especially with Ryzen and Ryzen facing issues with Vengeance DIMMs. I’d go with the 2x16GB kit suggested by @191x7.
You're purchasing a generic 3600c18 module without sourcing directly from a RAM IC maker or a local outlet (like Klevv). This usually means you'll encounter variations between two different kits for the same size, offering a 20% bandwidth boost—significantly faster than single-rank options (such as a 3200 dual-rank setup mimicking a 4000 single-rank configuration). However, you may need to opt for crucial components or Klevv parts (the latter is favored over DJR). Generally, buying two 2x8 modules tends to cost more than getting a single 2x16 kit, unless you're aiming for the highest possible RAM configuration at the lowest price.
It's not like that in my situation. That's why I'm taking this approach.
