I tried to enjoy some HL2 today but couldn't. My setup is mostly G-Sync on a PG258Q, and when I switch to maximum resolution 1920x1080, the connection keeps dropping. The display shows a No DP message repeatedly, then restarts. After a few tries, it stopped working after the cop mentioned grabbing the can. Anyone have ideas? Also, I forced the game into ULMB mode but it only reached 144Hz with the greyed-out option... strange.

Gsync functions at 30-144fps. Configure the maximum frame rate to 144 using Rivatuner.
