I've been playing GW2 day and night over the past five months with my 7950, then upgraded to 290x. I haven't experienced any crashes or black screens. Are you using a driver from Windows Update? They have around 6-7 drivers available for Windows 10, though there are also beta versions.

They haven't resolved the issues with their drivers yet, so what's the plan for version 10?

The issue lies with the 7 and 8 drivers, as they are not functioning properly.

I’m not experiencing any problems with GW2 on Windows 8.1 right now, especially when using the 15.5 (Witcher 3 drivers) on my R9 290.

Many games fail to launch and only work on Nvidia graphics cards, with the worst being those that aren't labeled as Nvidia compatible.

In one game a friend used OpenGL, but the GPU wasn't recognized, so it had to run on the CPU. Some parts didn't work at all. These capabilities are crucial for good visuals, yet many games fail to launch for this reason. Why does this happen?
