You don’t have anything to do right now. It’s okay to keep the iGPU active if you’re using a tool that supports QuickSync.

Consider delaying the purchase another week or two. An i7-12700k would also be a good option, possibly prompting an upgrade to Windows 11 if possible. It seems the system should automatically detect the GPU, but if not, there might be an issue—like when the power connector wasn’t fully inserted.

Connect the monitor to the GPU, not the IGPU. IGPU is usually turned off by default. You can adjust this in BIOS if needed.
