I successfully installed two separate 2x4GB DDR3-1600 modules on my Lenovo K450 without any problems. The main challenge was that as an OEM device, I couldn’t adjust the speed or timing settings. Fortunately, the 1600 MHz configuration performed well, though the timings ended up matching the looser of the two units.
