Uncertain about your request. Could you clarify what you need?
This addresses the CPU aspect clearly. Everything should work properly there. Still, I believe having both monitors connected to the same GPU might slightly impact GPU performance. You mentioned it's a very small effect—like using "salt." Could the 10% usage seen in the 1440p game be comparable to the loss you'd experience if you played GTA 5 at the same time? Or will that percentage shrink to around 1-3%? That would be almost imperceptible.
I managed to connect two monitors. I needed a DVI-D connection for the other one. As expected, the same problem appeared—CPU usage reached about 95% when watching movies on both screens. It seemed the issue was consistent whether I played games or viewed videos. Why is this happening? EDIT: It looks like the 95% spike occurred while streaming a 1440p YouTube video on the lower-resolution monitor. Playing a 1080p video on that monitor alone used only 0.5-2.0% CPU. Running a 1080p video from my PC to both monitors resulted in 10-15% max usage. Clearly, high-res videos consume more CPU. This insight is helpful when using dual monitors, particularly during gaming sessions. Edited November 3, 2018 by A Random Dude Added a useful edit at the bottom.
There’s no way around this simple setup—using an Android phone, you can install MSI Afterburner and link it with the MSI AB app for live performance tracking.
