About a month ago I started assembling my first PC and have been enjoying the game Combat Arms for some time. On an older system I keep running into issues launching it because I receive the error about needing DirectX 9.0c and a video card that supports TNL (Error 484). I've watched a video explaining this problem and tried several solutions: updated drivers, reinstalled the game, downloaded the latest DirectX version, installed updated RAM, used an Intel i5 4690k with MSI G55, 8GB DDR2 sticks, Windows 7 Home Premium (pirated). If anyone can help me get the game running again, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

I'm still waiting to purchase it, but on my old PC it worked well with built-in graphics, which is why I'm using that now.

It seems the issue could be related to the game you're playing. Intel graphics drivers sometimes work well or poorly based on the specific game.

My old CPU was from an Intel model, right? That might not really matter. I’ll find out once I get my graphics card installed. Thanks for your assistance!
