I’m sharing this to understand the key distinctions between the PC and console versions of Destiny 2. I’m interested in how gameplay feels different, especially regarding items, progression, and overall experience. People might notice variations in what you use during crucible sessions, class choices, or difficulty levels. As a console player, your perspective on these differences—beyond just the master race—would be really helpful. Thanks for your cooperation! Stay frosty.

They might use a different platform to access the same game, allowing them to play it on their preferred device.

It's impressive how Destiny 2 runs at 4K with 60 frames per second on PC. The detailed graphics, lighting, and environments really stand out, making it a stunning experience.

I played destiny on PS4 and now own both versions on PS4 and PC. Graphics are great, especially in crucible where every weapon uses high caliber rounds. It feels more natural on PS4 since opponents often use such weapons with a mouse, making it harder to play smoothly. I’m confused about why they reintroduced it after removing it from the first game. On PC, turning while sprinting is more comfortable—you don’t have to stop running in corners and there’s no movement penalty. Battlenet can be frustrating at times, and finding a team can take longer than expected. On PS4, inviting friends is much simpler compared to BNet, where you must add them as friends first. Also, PC isn’t region locked while PS4 is.

I’m focusing on comparing the experience between the two platforms. Since I’m a console gamer, I’m looking at how it feels here versus PC. The main point was to gather opinions from PC players, not to promote purchases. Please revisit the original post for more details.

Graphics seemed perfect for PC play. Thoughts on gameplay? Combat in PvE or PvP, weapon choices and their effects?

I really enjoy the whole experience. The missions are entertaining, and the weapon upgrades always seem to come through—surprising! I’m not sure how they managed it, but I haven’t tried PvP yet. It feels a bit too old for that kind of game, haha.

I haven't played in a while since their match creation system is really bad. It took me more than 20 minutes just to join a PUG for raids. I never got the chance to level up with good gear because I couldn't join or finish in the raids. That's why I've moved on...

I noticed these signs of trouble starting to appear. I guess you're not familiar with the Destiny front yet, especially regarding gear. I can't recall the exact level but you'll need to keep grinding until around 260 or above. Once you hit that mark, you'll require the help from powered engrams—Milestone rewards or Clan Rewards. These are meant for use when you reach a multiple of five after 260. For example, using one at 264 or 265 should raise your light level past the typical 265 threshold. The delay in progress isn't Blizzard's issue but rather a result of their Zone matchmaking system. This only affects players on European servers since it disconnects from other regions. I really value your feedback though—thanks!
