Hello, welcome. I bought the Synology E10M20-T1 to add M.2 and 10 gigabit Ethernet to my home server. The issue is that the OS boots every time it starts but the device isn’t detected. It appears to be missing. After a quick reboot, the card shows up without issues and functions properly. I suspect a driver problem and tested Ubuntu Linux, but it’s still problematic. Could be related to BIOS settings? My board is an Asrock H370M-ITXac with an 9th gen i5 and 16GB RAM. Since it’s an ITX model, I can’t use other PCIe slots. I also heard about disabling fast boot, but that doesn’t apply here since I’m using Linux. It didn’t help. Any suggestions on why this happens or how to fix it? Also, could I set up a preboot system to restart before launching OpenMediaVault? Thanks ahead!

Consider a method to set up GRUB for a reboot after a cold start, avoiding loading during warm-up.
