Hey! Your coil whine issue seems to be linked to the components you haven’t replaced. The problem persists despite changing the PSU, GPU, RAM, and motherboard. It’s mostly noticeable in games like Rocket League and Minecraft, especially when you move your mouse or change your perspective. You also experience low FPS in Minecraft. Your setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, several SSDs, and a Corsair Rage 850 X570 with 500GB storage.

Rejecting any additional components—just vanilla game, Bedrock edition, or mods. Performance varies widely depending on these choices.

I noticed a lot of coil whine coming from your 2060. You only started hearing it after opening the side panel because of poor airflow, and your CPU kept getting too hot during intense gaming sessions. The whine @sivertjobern is likely unavoidable.

Absolutely, I see what you're saying. The buzz is definitely affecting your frame rate, especially under certain conditions. Back then with the 8600K, I could still hit 300 FPS with strong settings, but now it's dropping below 100. The 3700X should perform similarly on a single core. Your Ryzen drivers are set up correctly, and your temperatures and clocks seem normal—just a bit of interference from the fan noise.

It might have been a bit late, but I faced this problem in Minecraft too. I fixed it by turning off vsync and setting the game's frame rate to a comfortable level.
