Code: Warzone Data Packet Surge
Code: Warzone Data Packet Surge
So unsure if this problem has been keeping you up at night as much as me, but I've actually tried everything. You name it—I've done it. Switched graphic settings and resolution. Moved from my 970 evo plus M.2 SSD to a 7200rpm HDD. Did port forwarding and tested various open ports for Warzone, upgraded my rig from an R9 390X to an RX 5700 XT. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 build and found a post that finally resolved the issue. Even though it didn’t eliminate the popping packet symbol, the lag and stutter disappeared. If you're on PC, check this out and see if it matches your experience. In your "Documents" folder, there should be a "Call of Duty Modern Warfare" file. Open that, then launch Players, and finally open the ADV.Option file in Notepad. There you’ll find a "renderworkercount"—it shows how many logical cores your CPU has versus physical cores. For example, I have 12 logical processors and 6 cores. You can check this by opening Task Manager, clicking Performance, and selecting your CPU. When I opened the file with Notepad, my renderworkercount was 2. That means the game was only using 2 cores, which is enough for smooth play. I changed it to 6, saved the file, and Warzone ran without stuttering. I’m confident this will help you too. The file needed fixing.
I've been playing this since the very first day too. The problem would appear and disappear whenever I was using a slow internet connection. I've tried all the possible solutions out there, but nothing works consistently on both my PS and PC. It does cut down on stuttering, but it doesn't solve the underlying issue.
