Code 15 followed by power cycle prior to startup
Hello, I just assembled a PC for my girlfriend. Everything went smoothly (with some minor clashes between design and function). Now that she’s using it, boot times seem a bit slower than expected. It appears to power cycle every time it starts. On boot, the q code reads code 15 with a yellow LED, stays there briefly, then switches to red and the fans pause for a moment before resuming. After that, it boots normally. My concern is whether this is typical behavior. I won’t show the video unless I do. Here’s what the specs are: System: Mobo: Asus B650e – RAM: Corsair Dominator Plat. 6000 CL 36 32GB CPU: AMD 7900X3D – Power Supply: Seasonic Vertex G1200 – GPU: Asus Strix 4080 – BIOS: 1222.
There is a video demonstrating the boot sequence: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fqg31h7hyx8efg...9.mp4?dl=0 I also observed that cpuz identifies only the type of RAM in slot 2, while no other slots display any information
Training memory is used each time the system starts. You can verify fast boot status in the BIOS, though it may not work on that AGESA version. Confirm it's operating at the expected speed—there could be an issue with training the EXPO profile and causing safe mode to appear regularly. This seems like a minor glitch. Don’t stress too much about it. Also, keep a record of all notifications you receive; I just ended up staying on this page.
