I understand some folks aren't fans of COD but still don't share their views. I've played every version since MW3, except Ghosts. All my experiences are on Xbox, though I don’t own one due to university rules. Now I’m thinking about getting an IW version for PC. I enjoy BF1 and many other titles on PC, but COD is the one I really want to stick with. Since I’m in the UK for school but will be back in the US for the summer, I’m worried about missing out if I can’t play on my PC then. Is that a valid concern? Also, GMG.com lists prices based on location, but my Steam account is set to US pricing even though I’m using a UK site. Does that matter? I also want to hear what others think—what do they like or dislike about the game? How does movement feel? Setting? Multiplayer? Zombies? I don’t just want blanket opinions. Currently, Steam has a 55% positive rating, and it’s one of the few games I actually enjoyed compared to No Man's Sky. I’m confident I’ll like it despite some negative reviews. I already own BF1 and plan to buy Titanfall 2 to balance my collection of FPS games. Don’t call me a fanboy just because I’m not—just because I enjoy COD. Thanks for any advice!

Activation involves regional restrictions, so purchasing on Steam means you can't use the same account as someone who bought from the Microsoft Store, and vice versa.

Purchasing the game in the UK on Steam doesn’t affect its availability in the US, so you should be able to play it on your PC regardless of location.

Yes, I'm not sure about the consequences if you play elsewhere, but you can only access it if you purchase it in the same area as where you bought it.
