COD HQ BETA experiencing issues during startup, displaying a crash on the loading screen.
This won't apply to everyone, but after numerous tries to resolve it—checking Steam files, GPU drivers, firewall configurations, etc.—including testing the BattleNet version and the same issue, I identified the cause: the CPU was overclocked along with a voltage increase.
Fix: Adjusted the BIOS settings, switched back to Automatic mode, restarted the system, and the game loaded smoothly without further problems. This worked during both closed and open Beta versions.
Previously, the game would start with the Indian splash screen, load bar, and full screen, then go black except for the mouse cursor. After roughly 20 seconds, a message appeared indicating improper shutdown, prompting me to consider safe mode. I attempted everything until the overclock adjustment was made, but it still wouldn't run properly. The Bootloader.log also confirmed successful loading.
