Likely just the 3700x display is indicating its age. Consider reducing the resolution to 1080p to determine if that resolves the issue.

It feels quite typical for today's games. The performance can vary a lot depending on the title, and I've seen my new setup often exceed double frames per second in certain titles.

It really depends on the specific game. Cod is known for poor optimization, which means you can't rely on it alone. You might be able to check with MSI Afterburner to see how much CPU usage each core has. If one core hits 100% or nearly so, that's a sign of a bottleneck. Great if not, then it could just be the game itself. Also, consider whether this happens at all—low settings usually don't cause this issue. Interestingly, I noticed my CPU would sometimes hit maximum usage even when I undervolted it heavily, which actually improved performance compared to stock.

No, none of the cores exceeded 84% during playtime, so my CPU should manage the GPU. However, the GPU spikes are between 80-95%, which isn't optimal. Neither performance is at full strength—regardless of graphics settings, FPS stays around medium (125-140) and high (105-125).
