Looking for fresh co-op or LAN FPS titles suitable for you and your friend? It seems new options are scarce, as most games now require online play. The threads you shared mention Insurgency and Borderlands 1/2, which are recent releases. Consider checking those again or exploring newer indie titles that support multiplayer.

New concepts often arise, as most are built for online play rather than LAN setups. Many AAA titles now focus on the internet, leaving LAN options limited—like in Battlefield. Fortunately, online gaming requires minimal bandwidth, so with an internet connection you can still connect. Indie titles might differ a bit.

I was a bit let down when it turned out battlefield doesn<|pad|> to no longer support Lan. I also remember how great those story-driven co-op games were. I’ll share some titles that are Lan or co-op in the OP we discussed here.
