Power failure reported. MiniPC remains inactive after attempts. Verified connections using another outlet and power cord—no issues found. Found no obvious problems on the device itself. Seller advised opening the shell, disconnecting the CMOS battery cable, then re-testing. Attached photos provided for reference. Thank you!

Avoid these images; it might be concealed beneath the heatsink. There’s a CLR CMOS switch on the upper right corner—consider testing it first.

It seems the CMOS power cell is located on the circuit board beneath the cooler. Typically there isn't a dedicated CMOS cable, but signals pass through the board's traces.

It's fairly typical to connect the battery directly.

It seems you're considering typical-sized mobile cases but haven't much hands-on experience with compact PCs.

It appears the issue is located at the rear of the motherboard, not the CPU area. The front section likely houses the heat sink.

Maybe we won't find much information about your device because we're not sure what kind of mini PC you have.

OK so, pressing the CLR CMOS WORKED!!! BUT, when i took out the case, I accidently broke a capacitator (that's what they are called), and I know it was from the back part of the mobo, but I don't know where from. i think it's on the right just bellow the 2 other ones? The PC still turns on though. SO WHAT NOW??? Can I still use it?
