Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I believe the customer would likely access their account through Steam, right? After reviewing the options, I think renting a PC with a full game library wouldn’t be permitted. My target customer seems to have a decent machine that struggles with top-tier titles at maximum settings—or perhaps someone using only a laptop. For reaching more customers, I plan to use online ads. Regarding cloud gaming services, the Swedish internet papers seem to highlight many options not available locally, which could be a good angle too. My connection is fast—500/500 Mbps with upgrade potential—and latency is minimal. I’m currently away from home, so I can’t test it directly. It hasn’t experienced any downtime in the past five years, which is reassuring. Sure, affordable consoles are available now, but they don’t match the performance of a PC running games at full settings, like Witcher 3. Even with a PC or console, portability remains a challenge. I truly believe cloud gaming solutions could fill this gap. As for unused PCs, I’m not sure what’s going on. The most likely scenario is cryptocurrency mining. My electricity costs are low, but profitability may change in the future. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks again!

You might choose this path because purchasing directly on G2A or through Steam sales often provides better deals, exclusive items, or faster access compared to buying elsewhere.

It's not focused on purchasing the games. Instead, you just lease the equipment to run them.

I believed you were talking about cloud gaming, not about bringing me a personal computer.

His goal is to move all the processing to the server and rely on your own steam library. I don’t understand how that would work.

It seems like you're referring to a situation where many services have attempted game streaming but largely didn't succeed. People tend to prefer purchasing games directly and enjoying them without noticeable input lag. Instead of streaming, they opt for smoother gameplay.

You must purchase the game, but if your device doesn’t support the desired settings, streaming might be a viable alternative.

That's how the other services operate—they send the content from their servers, which affects performance. The delay becomes more noticeable at lower quality settings in certain games. You'll have to download the game they can't stream to you and then share it back through your own account.

However, if steam disconnects each time a user accesses a PC, that individual can still connect to their personal Steam account and enjoy all the games they possess.
