I intend to switch Windows 7 to version 10 on another partition for testing. Check if dualboot is possible. After that, you may want to use Acronis True Image to create a clone of the partition.

Ensure proper setup by switching to BIOS and picking the Win10 partition as the boot device when using Windows 10. Alternatively, employ EasyBCD to incorporate a Win10 boot option into the Windows 7 bootloader, allowing you to select your preferred operating system.
