Clocks above normal boost for 4060 ti OC version?
Clocks above normal boost for 4060 ti OC version?
Hey everyone i've got a question i need help with.
i've noticed that the clock speed seems a bit too high compared to what the card was advertised to.
Im running it on stock settings , i've just bought it and plugged it into the pc i havent touched any settings.
Here is a screenshot of MSI afterburner with nothing changed on it , and on the left is HW monitor showing the current / lowest / highest values , i thought the HW monitor is wrong but the MSI overlay and any other program shows that the card reaches that speed.
The card in question is this :

Did i get super lucky with this card or super unlucky?
Also note temps never go alarming states max it's been is 65-66c under heavy gaming load with 80-82 hotspot.

Thanks in advance,
this ensures a consistent boost clock, meaning the GPU will maintain its full performance even when loaded completely, preventing any drop below that threshold
It's typical to see lower temperatures on the hotspot after a repaste, though it may not be essential. Keeping the temperature down helps the GPU run more efficiently, as lower heat allows it to clock faster. I would exceed the standard Nvidia fan curve with 30 percent speed at 25°C, which keeps things steady and prevents the GPU from overheating until it reaches around 50°C. At that point, the GPU needs more cooling.
