When F@H is running in the background, Steam might not recognize your microphone. This problem happened to me and was resolved by stopping F@H. If you're facing similar issues, please share your experience. I'm not sure why it happens, but I know my mic stops working during Steam tasks unless I close F@H.
Maybe it's functioning properly instead of being faulty. It makes sense to keep background apps running while playing, right? I usually turn off unnecessary programs.
