Hi, I own a Clevo P150EM laptop with the PremaMod V.2 (P15E1711.PM2) installed. It functions properly and now includes UEFI support. My goal was to integrate either or both of these GPUs, but it seems I need a BIOs upgrade. My preferred choice is the AMD FirePro S7BS100X (8GB) and the second option is the AMD FirePro W6170M (2GB). I've searched extensively for guidance, but many links are broken or incomplete. I've discovered that both cards have successfully run on this machine and they're technically compatible. I already have the right drivers, and the system is configured to send display output through the built-in port. What I need is assistance adjusting the BIOs to accommodate them correctly. I can share the BIOs I'm using and any additional details you think are useful. I've gathered most flashing tools, GPU vBios, and the original motherboard BIOS. Thank you for your help!

You might want to check digital life forums for bios modding communities. There could be some bios modders there. If you find any info or tutorials, I could assist. It might just involve tweaking random values or using mmtool mods, though I’m not sure. Most of my experience is with mmtool, working on microcode and swapping EBB for better OC support on 775 boards.

The S7100X and W6170M can run on a P150EM without any modifications. The standard vbios and amd drivers should suffice for proper operation. The thermal pad design remains consistent. Be aware that the S7100X may overheat under heavy load, potentially triggering thermal throttling. This issue can be resolved with under-voltage settings and additional vbios adjustments. If you decide to go with the S7100X, it might not be my top pick for upgrades unless you're looking for a very budget option. There are numerous GPU upgrade paths available for the P150EM, and faster models exist if needed. Feel free to ask for more guidance. Best of luck!
