They mentioned the CPU cache is already full because of age and needed clearing for normal performance. Clearing it takes about five minutes, which is why they couldn’t do it sooner. It’s not unusual for older CPUs to require this step before running at full speed. Clearing the cache usually involves resetting the memory blocks so the processor can access data more efficiently.

Others call the tower a CPU. In reality, its cache uses volatile memory, which clears when the system powers down. You can't interact with it directly—it's entirely managed by the CPU.

However, the CPU cache clears upon powering off the computer.

I'm really concerned about what he plans to do in those five minutes on the CPU.

Ensure the computer is powered down and disconnect the power source to confirm it’s completely off. This will reset all caches and RAM across the entire system, including the CPU, GPU, memory, and storage devices.

The CPU doesn’t store data internally—any problems with the settings are likely on the motherboard, which can be resolved by removing the battery for a few minutes. I think that’s what they meant, and if the motherboard struggles with timing, the battery might need replacing.

I think I'll attempt to buy it, perhaps securing a discount since he has a "filled cache" situation.

It seems the seller is referring to resetting the CMOS, which relates to the motherboard rather than the CPU cache. That topic isn't typically associated with CPUs.

And I concur that Meshify C offers the optimal solution.

I really messed up by thinking 'clock time' means real time, not CPU clock time. Lol
