Your new PC isn't starting well and after installing Windows on the M.2 SSD it's showing up as blank. You checked tutorials but nothing worked. You're considering using your old PC to boot from USB for your new setup, since the M.2 slot won't fit on your current board.

You're likely preparing for a fresh installation. If so, use the media creation tool, save it onto a flash drive, connect the drive to your new PC, and boot from it. When prompted for installation location, clear all visible content to erase existing partitions, leaving the drive empty as if it were brand new.

Reinstalling Windows on that SSD is necessary since a fresh setup will erase all existing data.

That logic is clear. You can start the system using a USB thumb drive, then connect the M.2 slot and wipe it (it seems you can do that).
