An upgrade works well here since you're only switching between versions of Windows. It usually happens during major updates like moving from Windows 10 to 11, where a fresh install can fix issues. This should feel smoother than upgrading between specific versions such as 21H1 to 21H2.

Windows 10 home and Windows 10 Pro are the same operating system, Pro just has a couple more features enabled. Unless your current Windows install has issues I see no reason to do a clean install.
