Hello, I hope you understand. I'm trying to recall a game I played around ten years ago on an old PC that no longer exists. It was a top-down military strategy game, or at least one I remember being set in the present day. You controlled a small team of soldiers, assigning tasks to them and each had a name. There was also a medic character. If you earned enough in-game currency, you could purchase tanks or other vehicles. Missions would be dropped off by helicopters, and the only memory I have is that every time an enemy was defeated, the soldiers would shout "tango down." It wasn't a widely popular title, but it's frustrating I can't remember it clearly. Thanks.

The initial group of heroes launched between 2005 and 2006, and I received it for free with my Asus 8800GT!

Maybe it's the original XCOM? (I don't know when it was created)

I don't believe it matches those, I'm still reviewing the options. Thanks!

It wasn't a build, it was more like a shooter with levels. You managed various characters and the experience was top-down.
