Yes, I get acct recovery. Those are no longer my accounts. I stopped gaming for nearly two years, and during that time I handed over those accounts to my younger brother via email while I was traveling internationally. I’m not in a position to reclaim them easily, so I don’t want to take them back.

Really? I believed that more folks were purchasing older and indie titles since AAA games had seen a drop in quality (like loot boxes, microtransactions, and intense development periods). Or at least that's my perspective.

Indie games tend to be well crafted, free from microtransactions and loot boxes. I’m not familiar with many indie titles that match the style of Mass Effect or Cod or Titanfall. When I think of indie, I imagine games like Terraria or Stardew Valley as the best multiplayer experiences. Most indie shooters are single-player focused. Older titles often face issues when played on newer systems—you usually need to install mods and the graphics may not be as polished as modern games, which can be a drawback for some players.

I own a good collection of 2000s and 90s titles in my Steam library, and I struggle to recall any that don’t function properly or haven’t been played yet. Even games that require some tweaks usually need configuration adjustments or compatibility layers, which I’m familiar with.
My Steam page: https://steamcommunity.com/id/4311324312/games/?tab=all
Feel free to share examples if you think I might be missing something.
Personally, I prefer graphics, but they’re not the only thing that matters to me.

Great library. I've faced issues with older RPGs such as Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines or Divine Divinity. You're correct, small adjustments often work and the steam community shares helpful tips for resolving these problems.

In general, playing older games is usually done with friends since not everyone has a new system, making it a practical solution. I don't have much to say about consistently hosting servers for such games. The only memory I have is about Battlefield 2142, where there was a community version with servers and players, but it was eventually removed due to copyright concerns.
