Hey everyone,
I had a few questions about game servers in 2019. Now that I’ve built my new PC and created new Steam and EA accounts, I’m wondering if it’s worth buying some of my old favorites again (like B02, MW3, Mass Effect Series, Titanfall 1&2, BF3 & 4, etc.), or if the servers have become too outdated to be useful.

I believe it's only worthwhile if you enjoy playing the single-player campaign frequently.

For Call of Duty, I'm not sure about BO2 & after, but for instance, the original Black Ops shows steady server activity. Eastern time, especially at night, there are many players (particularly on weekends) and a lot of European servers. Zombie is almost nonexistent, while bot servers are common, though sometimes real people join too. So you might encounter players in the latest games.

Verify the game on Steam Charts.
If it maintains steady 1-3k active players, it’s in good shape and matches should be easy to locate.

Upgrading to a new pc usually means better chances for playing the latest games. Older titles tend to be less popular with new releases. Unless you're part of a gaming group, it's still fine.

Not really, but I really love those titles and miss playing them.

What do you mean? You just log in and re-download the games. That's exactly what I do often. I have an old Origin account with Mass Effect 2 that I had to sign into and redownload about six months ago. I also didn't remember my password, so I had to recover it. All you need is the email you used for that account.

Titanfall 2 has sufficient players. You can locate them on a Wednesday. It remains popular enough for various game modes. Also, single-player is impressive.
