I’m looking for classic titles that run smoothly on your Surface Pro 2. You might enjoy games like "Doom," "Quake III Arena," "Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos," and "Diablo II." These are known for their solid performance even on older hardware.

Could be a Half-Life project too. Portal might also fit in.

Insaniquarium Deluxe is a game I've mentioned many times, and I'm confident it's one of the best killing games for any modern platform.

Some Game Boy models with color options work well for emulating Snes or NES titles. Roller coaster Tycoon 1 and 2, as well as Total War Rome, should run smoothly. You can also enjoy many indie titles such as Shovel Knight, FTL, and Darkest Dungeon.

The stronghold lineup performs well, especially the older titles

I enjoyed the classic Quest titles, such as KingsQuest. There was also a pirate game whose name is hard to recall, and a robot warfare simulation. I’d love to discover more of these and learn the forgotten names. It’s been quite a while.
