Cinebench stops working
I experienced fan noise in VR and used Cinebench to identify the cause. During the initial GPU test, everything seemed fine except for a short time remaining, after which Cinebench stopped. There’s no available report explaining this issue. Conditions were stable: temperatures were normal, power draw was around 15%, fans weren’t activated yet. Operating system is Windows 11, BIOS updated, power supply 1000W, 4090 RAM, i9-14900K CPU, z790-DDR5. Edited March 17, 2024 by Piper5299X – details omitted.
Disable all overclocks and close any third-party applications after capturing your startup screen.
No OC, unsure about third-party tools. It's fascinating how unstable memory leads one program to crash. I'm currently running the most demanding VR simulation without problems, just using CB to check for noisy fans. I'll capture some startup screenshots soon.
its a very common problem unfortunately and that's just how ram that's not quite compatible works... it may be fine for months, but use a specific app and bam! stuff thats not preinstalled with windows and that's unnecessary to run the system, like msi center. which is about the worst app you can have installed, only topped by nzxt cam basically. its surprising your computer works at all. uninstall it.
