But the iPad provides a superior battery life, a refined touch screen, and functions effectively as a tablet rather than feeling restrictive. It meets the requirements set in the original post more effectively than the Surface Pro 5. When opting for the £479 model, it features a more powerful CPU compared to the Surface Pro 5. If you're primarily using it for streaming and browsing, why would you require 512GB of storage? The iPad outperforms a laptop for internet use and provides greater portability.
Each has their own preferences, I don’t think it’s fair to claim one is superior. I find the Surface Go more suitable for me compared to an iPad. Although the interface isn’t as polished as iOS, it offers many advantages. It supports all web pages, any Windows application, USB-C connectivity, and works with various dongles. It also accepts micro SD cards. For instance, during our recent trip, I used the Go to back up my camera’s SD card to cloud storage each day. My wife uses an iPad, which works well for her, though she occasionally borrows the Go.
@LordVile: The iPad is a great device, but I don’t like Apple and their storage options are limited. I mainly use streaming services and have a big collection of downloaded shows. Android seems like a better fit, though I’m sure Windows will still be supported on my laptop for years to come. My current computer is nearly 7 years old, and I’m confident there aren’t many Android models that get updated anymore.
@sizzling and @delaro: That matches exactly what I was thinking about Windows. Thanks for the feedback!
I just got the Hi10x with keyboard and the Hipen H6. I wanted to upgrade from a 3yr old Lenovo yogabook and be able to draw directly on the screen with high accuracy. I'm blown away at how accurate the pen is and for less than $300 this thing is amazing. Build feels like a mini version MacBook from 5 years ago, very solid.
I hope you find the right device for you.
Having a Surface/iPad pro level of digitization, Windows10, a super light tablet, An actual keyboard with firm hinge/adjustment, all in such a small package for about $275 is unreal. My only complaint is that they suggest only using the USB C charger they provide to avoid damaging the battery (yes, it has a brick), and the keyboard is very heavy for the size. Also, the speakers are barely audible except in a very quiet room. 3.5mm Jack or Bluetooth are best options.
I want the Bios file and how to flash it on to the tablet
The tablet did not start. Did not have LCD backlight. Red LED blinking when I try to start it. Charging LED working. Full charged LED working. Not able to boot or go to bios settings. I had contacted customer service more than 30 days ago and attached the picture of back lid and serial number and model number but no answer until now. Then I try to see if is something burned on PCB boards and is nothing visible wrong with the inside boards.
