It seems challenging to set up this operating system quickly on ChromeOS. You might want to explore Crouton or GalliumOS for a more efficient installation.

ChromeOS appears to offer the best choice for offline viewing. With Android support, I can install Netflix and stream movies without an internet connection. My cable service also provides a comparable app, and I frequently download podcasts. I’m now seriously thinking about purchasing a Chromebook. I just want to make sure Crouton is reliable enough for productivity tasks.

You might also try a standard laptop with a dual-boot setup running ChromeOS and Windows. I just posted a guide on the forums.

I strongly approve of GalliumOS, I've got it running on my C720.
