On certain platforms running IE 11 or newer, the GPU optimization Microsoft created can perform significantly better than Chrome on specific sites. After version 11, IE generally offers good performance.

On Facebook, hitting enter after typing a message causes a noticeable delay of around 500 milliseconds, which bothers me. Additionally, I frequently rely on Chrome's synchronization tools.
